Phillauri 1st Weekend Box Office Collections is 15.25 crore. The First Weekend Collection is Average especially with the business on Sunday which should have been more.
The film has an average Friday, decent Saturday and another average day in Sunday. The Sunday should have been much better considering the fact it is a family friendly film. The film has done well in East Punjab but it is primarily because of Diljit Dosanjh. The film was average in Mumbai and decent in Delhi - UP belt. Other territories are below average as expected.
The film needs a healthy trend over the next couple of weeks to survive at the box office. A Weekend is the range of 17-18 crore would have been good for a film like Phillauri. For the film to trend well, the Monday business needs to show less than 40 % drop compared to Friday.
In comparison, NH10 had scored around 13.25 crore in the first weekend but that film showed a good trend over three weeks at the box office and it helped in succeed at the box office. Phillauri in order to succeed has to show similar trend but the word of mouth doesn't seem to be as good as NH10.
